Josh Scott
serves as Senior Pastor of Morgantown Community Church
Josh comes to MCC from the Nashville area. Josh graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2003. He has served as the interim pastor of First Baptist Church in Belfry Kentucky and Lead Pastor of Cavalry Baptist Church in Berea Kentucky. Josh says in his spare time he likes drinking cold Ale 8's and hanging out with his wife (Carla) and his dog Benji.

Tommy Hines
Tommy Hines is a native of Butler County, but also lived in Louisiana, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and eventually Florida where he graduated from high school. He attended Western Kentucky University where he received his undergraduate degree in music theory and his graduate degree in historic preservation. He began directing preservation efforts at an historic site in Logan County in 1986 and continues that work today. His interests include writing, structural and landscape restoration, regional history, and film. Tommy has been an Associate Pastor, leading worship at Morgantown Community Church since 2000.

Kim Embry
Kim serves as our Administrative Assistant at MCC. She has been married for 23 years to her high school sweetheart Johnny Embry. They have a delightful daughter Courtney who is 12 years old and who is beautifully unique in her own way. She adores spending time with her family and friends. She absolutely loves the great outdoors, including: ATV riding, camping, fishing, boating, relaxing on the beach and helping with the family lawn care business. Her most desired food is chocolate. Yes, you can make a meal out of chocolate!

John Lovell
John serves as Middle School and High School Student Pastor for Morgantown Community Church. After graduating from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005, John and his wife Hillary moved to Morgantown, where he filled a teaching position at our local high school. In 2008, John was hired on as a church staff member. John and Hillary continue to serve with stuCo, our student community @ MCC with many of our other volunteers. They have one child, Faith, who was born in April 2009. John says he loves to spend time with his family, play video games, watch football (GO COWBOYS!) and tinker with anything "tech" related.

Teri Curry
Teri is our Director of Children’s Ministries (birth – 5th grade) here at MCC. She has been married to Duane Curry for 28 years and are now ‘empty nesters’ since their son Luke lives in Nashville and daughter Hope is a freshman at WKU. God put a passion in Teri's heart for teaching kids about 20 years ago and is now a 5th grade teacher at MES. God led her to work with the children of MCC in August of 2008. Thanks to some great volunteers, they share in nurturing our children on their spiritual journey with Christ through Waverly Woods and UpStreet.
